Irreversibly delete the data you want so that it can never be recovered.

It is more and more common these days to find all types of utility for your PC that let you recover files that have been deleted, even if they have been deleted from the waste bin.

But you might not want some files to be recovered, due to their private or secure nature, or because they are useless and it's a waste of time recovering them.

The method used by Clean Disk Security is really very simple. The only thing it does is delete the data and immediately write over the deleted traces so that it would be impossible in future to recover them. There are various security levels to be sure of total deletion, with the highest level being the Gutmann (it overwrites up to 35 times).
